Shaman GRIP-EMS Sequences
This is my Elemental Shaman Farseer sequence for 12.1, split into dedicated single-target and multi-target versions for M+ and Raid. The goal was to keep the normal rotation automated while leaving the important burst windows under manual control, with Stormkeeper and Ancestral Swiftness paired together and Ascendance, trinkets, and potion saved for a separate burst modifier. The ST sequence is weighted toward Lava Burst, Elemental Blast, and Lightning Bolt, while the AoE sequence focuses heavily on Earthquake, Lava Burst, Chain Lightning, and Voltaic Blaze. The AoE version has been tuned to closely reproduce the top warcraftlogs damage profile, especially the Earthquake/Chain Lightning balance. Modifiers Shift: Stormkeeper + Ancestral Swiftness CTRL: Ascendance + Trinkets + Combat Potion Single Target — Priority Designed for bosses and pure single-target encounters. Prioritizes Lava Burst and Elemental Blast while using Lightning Bolt as the primary filler and maintaining Flame Shock through Voltaic Blaze. Multi Target — Sequential Designed for 3+ targets and Mythic+ trash. Uses weighted Earthquake and Chain Lightning casts while keeping Lava Burst and Voltaic Blaze cycling to support the Farseer/Ancestor damage profile. Recommended use: Pre-cast Stormkeeper with Shift, then use CTRL for the Ascendance/trinket/potion burst when you want to commit your major cooldowns. This is my Elemental Shaman sequences for M+ and Raid. Decided to build this around farseer for less RNG in tempest procs, and in preparation for what looks like the better hero talents on the PTR. In most cases it actually puts out more overall damage than stormbringer. Stormkeeper, ancestral swiftness and trinket slot 13 on the same mod key to max out ancestors during burst phases. Lava Burst is on a modifier to fire for Purging Flames procs. Try to always use Ascendance right after using Stormkeeper and always try to save both for boss fights. Aoe is testing 95%+ of sim over five mins with 5 targets. ST is also testing 95%+ of sim over five mins with 1 target. This is the Elemental Shaman variation of my Super SBA sequence series. It works with any base and hero talent variations, simply import it and go! Goal: Help individuals like myself with limited hand mobility achieve good to great DPS with as little buttons as possible. Reality: You will still need to bind some buttons, you can not simple use 1 button to play WoW effectively. Q: What does Super SBA actually do? A: Super SBA uses Blizzard's build in Single Button Assist as the main engine for the sequence but will also use some cooldowns and abilities not included in the default Single Button Assist. It will also auto use trinkets. Note about trinkets: Be sure that if you have a trinket with a channel such as Puzzle Box or Wraps of Cosmic Madness that it is in your bottom trinket slot or it will not use it. Q: Is this better than SBA or a more advanced sequence? A: It depends, some classes do better than others with SBA and some specs are extremely difficult if not impossible to make a good EMS sequence for such as Balance Druid. Balance Druid is nearly impossible to get perfect using even the most advanced EMS sequence you can imagine, however SBA handles the Balance Druid spell rotation logic relatively well. Conclusion: SBA by itself will sometimes work better, EMS sequences will sometimes work better. My solution is to meet it all in the middle, you get a little bit of the best of both worlds with very little sacrifice. I managed to do pretty well in Midnight S1 using purely SBA and some macros, this just combines everything I've used into one package. How to use the sequence Import into GRIP-EMS with the import code like any other. Keybind the sequence OR use my preference the Action Bar Overrides plugin. Add any abilities not covered by the Super SBA onto your bars! Run at 100ms or spam the key as fast as you can. ?????? Profit! That's all!
