Slowdog's Blood DK | San'layn | M+ V5 BETA
1.0🧪 This Is A Beta I'm calling this a beta because the fix is new and I haven't put enough real keys through it yet, and I'd rather you know that going in than find out on a pull. V4 had a real bug where Death and Decay could fire twice back-to-back and drain the whole rune pool dry for over 10 seconds straight, confirmed on real Warcraft Logs data at 100ms. V5 fixes the actual mechanism behind that, and everything tested so far backs it up, but one beta tester's logs and my own dummy pulls aren't enough keys to call this finished. Treat it as a test build I'm asking you to help me close out. 🩸 Overview This is a Blood Death Knight macro for the San'layn build, Mythic+ focused, Sequential step function. Three anchor steps run first outside the loop: Dancing Rune Weapon, Raise Dead, and Death and Decay; then a 19-action Priority loop handles Death Strike, Heart Strike, Blood Boil, Marrowrend, and Vampiric Blood. Spell names only, every step well under GRIP's 255-character limit, resets on Combat End and Target Change. ⚙️ What It Does V4 had Death and Decay sitting inside the Priority-weighted loop. The problem with that is Priority mode in GRIP-EMS isn't a real fallthrough system; it's a fixed pre-expansion that hands a cooldown-gated spell a bunch of slots it can't use while it's on cooldown, and when it does come off cooldown at the wrong moment in that cycle, it can fire twice in a row. That's exactly what happened in V4: two Death and Decay casts landed back-to-back right after a run of other rune-spenders, and the rune pool had nothing left for 11 seconds. V5 pulls Death and Decay out of the loop completely and gives it its own Sequential anchor step, right after Dancing Rune Weapon and Raise Dead. Every cycle checks it first with plain Sequential logic, fires if it's up, does nothing if it's not, and never touches a weighted slot. The Priority loop underneath it is rebalanced without Death and Decay in it at all, so Death Strike and Heart Strike pick up the slots it used to sit in. Dancing Rune Weapon sits as a single anchor step rather than on a keybind, so it'll come up again whenever the loop cycles back around to it. 🎮 Modifiers Shift - Death Strike Ctrl - Anti-Magic Zone 🚫 What's Excluded Trinkets are situational; bind those manually. Anti-Magic Zone lives on Ctrl so you control when it goes up rather than it firing on its own. 📥 Setup Import the GRIP string with /gems import, load the talent string in the Talents panel, drag the sequence to your bar, and bind it. Keep your emergency and utility kit on separate keybinds, same as always. 📊 Beta Test Results Here's what's actually been checked. Three dummy pulls across three click speeds, 150ms, 100ms, and 250ms, all with zero cast gaps over three seconds and zero double Death and Decay firings, including at the exact 100ms rate that broke V4. One real Mythic+ key from a beta tester, Murder Row plus nine, full clear, zero deaths, casts stayed dense and clean the entire 26 minutes, healing kept pace with damage the whole way through. What I haven't proven yet is whether this holds up across more testers, more key levels, and more gear spreads. One clean key from one person is a good sign; it isn't a pattern. I also haven't checked Runic Power behavior under real dungeon conditions yet; that's still open. 💬 Feedback Wanted If you run this, post your Warcraft Logs link, your item level, and the key level. I especially want to know if you ever see two Death and Decay casts within a second of each other; that's the one failure signature I'm watching for. Deaths, stalls, anything that felt off all of it is worth more to me than a rating.

If you run it, please run logs (if you are willing) and either post them in the comments on lazygrip.net. That will help me fine-tune this sequence.
