Slowdog's Brewmaster Monk | Master of Harmony | GRIP M+ Macro V7 BETA 🧪 This Is A Beta I'm calling this a beta because that's what it is, and I'd rather you know that going in than find out on a key. The loop itself behaves exactly the way I built it, and I'll show you the numbers below, but I haven't run it above a +2 yet, and I haven't proven that it keeps a tank alive, so treat it as a test build that I'm asking you to help me finish. 🐼 Overview This is a Brewmaster Monk macro for patch 12.1, built around the Master of Harmony hero tree and a Method.gg Mythic+ talent setup, and it runs as a Sequential sequence with one opener step outside the loop and a six-step loop behind it. Everything is spell names only; the whole thing fits GRIP's 255-character limit on every step, and it resets on combat end and on target change so you start clean every pull. ⚙️ What It Does The core of the rotation is a single castsequence that walks Blackout Kick, Tiger Palm, Keg Smash, and Breath of Fire in order and only advances when the spell it's on actually goes off, with the reset set to combat so a target swap in the middle of a pull doesn't send you back to Blackout Kick. That castsequence shows up four times per loop, and between those it fires Celestial Infusion after the second pass and Invoke Niuzao, the Black Ox at the end, so both cooldowns go off on their own the moment they're ready, and you never have to think about either one. Chi Burst is not in the loop, and I want to explain why, since a few of you will ask. It has a cast time of around four seconds, and in my logs those casts kept getting canceled before they finished, which burned the beats around them for almost nothing, so I pulled it out. You can bind it to its own key if you want it. 🎮 Modifiers Shift - Purifying Brew, followed by Expel Harm Ctrl - Not used in this version Hold Shift when you're taking real damage, and you'll clear stagger and heal in the same press, and I'd treat that as the part that does your survival work because the rotation itself won't react to what's hitting you. 🚫 What's Excluded Spear Hand Strike, Fortifying Brew, Chi Burst, and the rest of your utility and emergency kit are deliberately left out; bind them separately and use them by hand before the damage arrives, not after. 📥 Setup Import the GRIP string below with /gems import, load the talent string through your Talents panel, drag the macro to your bar and bind it to a key, and bind your manual abilities separately before you pull. 📊 Beta Test Results Here's what I've actually measured and what I haven't. On a target dummy, the core order came out right on all 136 of 136 casts; Shuffle was up 98.8% of the time; Niuzao went off roughly every 121 seconds with no input from me; and Celestial Infusion fired on cooldown. In a delve on the earlier V6 version, which has the same core loop, the order was correct on 175 of 175. The part I don't like yet is a stall between Tiger Palm and Keg Smash. Every one of the 14 stalls on the dummy sat right there, and together they added up to roughly 37 seconds of dead time over a fight of about 200 seconds. Keg Smash's median gap was 6.1 seconds. I don't know yet whether Keg Smash is on cooldown or you're short on energy when it happens, because the log doesn't record energy. I haven't touched it, and I'm not going to guess at a fix. What I haven't proven is survivability. Niuzao is only about 1 percent of the damage on the dummy, so its value is defensive, and I haven't tested that. My real dungeon data tops out at +2 at a low item level, so I have nothing above that, and there's no Brewmaster benchmark at that item level to compare against. If you run a high key and it falls apart, that's exactly the information I need. 💬 Feedback Wanted If you try it, tell me your item level and the key level, and if you can, drop a Warcraft Logs link so I can see the real numbers. Anything about where you stalled, where you died, and whether Shift covered you is worth more to me than a thumbs up.
