Your spell names survive a talent change now.#

v2.4.13 stopped a save from touching versions you had not opened, and that turned out not to be where the problem was: the version you did have open was still worked out again from whatever the game reported at that moment. On a Mistweaver with Rushing Wind Kick talented over Rising Sun Kick, a step you had typed as Rising Sun Kick came back as Rushing Wind Kick and stayed that way in your saved file. Three separate things produced that one symptom. The spell recorded alongside your text is now the one your words name rather than the one your talents currently serve, so it still means what you wrote after a respec. Your step text is left exactly as you typed it when it was written on this client in this language, because there is nothing to bring it across from and a round trip through the stored spells can only change your wording. And a version you deliberately wrote for a different loadout shows the names you gave it instead of the replacement live on your character right now. Reported by Daxomault, who worked out two of the three himself and wrote a companion addon that proved them; if you installed that patch you can remove it once you are on this release.

Hold While Channeling is visible on every character now.#

The control only appeared if your character had an empowered spell, and the hold mode has nothing to do with empowered spells: it acts on any channel from any source. So a Demon Hunter channelling Void Ray could not reach the setting at all, because the only other way to see it was to already have it switched on. Two players ended up editing their saved variables file by hand to turn it on before the dropdown would appear for them. Release at max, the third option in that dropdown, is the only empower-specific one, and on a character with no empowered spell it behaves exactly like Hold cursor, because the hold still applies and only the release half has nothing to act on. In the ten translated clients its description now covers all three options instead of only the middle one; the English text already did.
